What does independency means to you? Have you thought about that? It is a blessing to be independent from thoose demanding,controlling things, persons. But think if we are supposed to be dependent of something,somebody how would that look like? Take a look at the baby.Independent and in no kneed of anything or anybody? Hm.... Philosophically we could say that one way or another we all depend on each other on this planet.
I think there are "good" dependencies and "bad" dependencies.
"Good" ones are mutual, based on love. Like your example with the baby that is truly dependent on the mother to survive. If the mother should stop feeding the baby it would die because it cannot support itself. But of course that does not happen, the mother keeps feeding the baby out of love.
"Bad" dependencies are based on fear. An example is tax payer and tax authorities. The tax authorities depend entirely on us tax payers, they cannot support themselves. So if all tax payers stopped feeding the tax man /with money) the tas man would "die" rather quickly from lack of funds. And is is certainly not out of love that we pay our taxes ;o) that dependency is maintained by fear!
